Hotel Miramar Sul

We arrived very late at night, without reservation and with a child and we were welcomed gently and with a super-prepared room. Comfortable, clean and cozy. Delicious breakfast coffee.

We stayed at this hotel for three and overall we had a great time. The room was nice with a balcony and chairs to enjoy the setting. The evening bar is also a real plus, especially to admire the beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was hearty and varied, with breads, cheeses, fruit and lots of choices. The breakfast staff was particularly kind and attentive. A big thank you also to Luis, manager of the restaurant, and to Béatriz for their warm welcome. The only real negative is the third bed. The two main beds were comfortable, but the extra bed, very low sofa bed, was really uncomfortable. The slats seemed damaged or out of place, and sleeping on them was difficult for the back. It’s a shame, because it spoils the comfort for a room for three people. The area had been hit hard by the storm a few months before we arrived. The hotel was still under construction in places, but we had chosen to come also to support the area, and we did not regret it. We will be back with pleasure.

Our three-day and two-night stay at Hotel Miramar Sul was below expectations. There were several problems that affected the comfort: shortage of sockets (including absence in the bathroom), lack of light during the stay, poor insulation of the windows that made rest difficult, and a serious problem with the elevator — we were stuck on a floor due to the touch sensor and had to ask for help. In addition, the facility management required shifts between units, and seemed much more promising in the searches than in reality! Despite the good reviews we had consulted, our experience was mediocre and was less than expected.
