Casa Do Castelo

We felt very comfortable here. Friendly welcome, pleasant room with a good bed. Not to forget the great breakfast, which lacks nothing... As a hobby gardener, I particularly liked the skillful design of the garden.

We loved our time at this beautiful house with its friendly and genuine hosts. Breakfast is served in the main house and has delicious offerings. Our room was near the pool which we enjoyed every afternoon. Old style furniture which adds to the character. The location is good for getting to the coast, Baleal & Peniche, but also for visiting beautiful Óbidos. The host will be happy to recommend places for dinner etc. It is everything you would expect if you do your research.

Its an old house build over the ruins of an older castle (aroud 1200 AD). The place looks very nice and the services are excelent. Its one of the most intresting places to be in Portugal for 2-3 days of even longer. The backyard is gorgeous, with fruit trees, and one of the fences is the wall of the old castle. It is a unique sensation, you feel as if you were traveling in time, my wife and I were very excited about everything that this place offered us.
