Veneza Hotel

Very nice hotel and attentive staff. Reasonable prices, convenient location co=loseto the city centre. Quiet at nignt. The hotel receptionist kindly allowed me to park my car free of charge directly opposite the hotel entrance, which was very convenient and much appreciated.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Veneza in Aveiro. The location is excellent – many attractions, restaurants, and the city center are easily reachable on foot. The staff was always friendly, attentive, and helpful, making us feel welcome right away. Particularly noteworthy are the spacious and comfortable rooms, which offer plenty of space and were very clean. Overall, the hotel impresses with its pleasant atmosphere, good service, and excellent location. We would recommend the hotel at any time and would gladly return!

Arrived a little early so rooms not ready but we were able to leave our luggage and head out. Check in was smooth and we were given a map and restaurant recommendations which was very helpful. Our room was located on the ground floor at the end of the corridor so was nice and quiet. We were on the side of the rooster but this could only be heard when window was open so didn’t cause us any issues. We only had one pillow each and we like to sleep with two but only one spare in the wardrobe. We asked at reception for another pillow but this never appeared. Luckily we were on holiday with another couple who didn’t need the spare one so we used that. There is air con in the rooms which is controlled by a remote. Ours was missing and again reception was contacted but they couldn’t locate it. Air con was either on or off so temperature couldn’t be altered which wasn’t ideal. We were room only so paid for breakfast on the first morning at a cost of €12 each. Whilst breakfast was ok we didn’t feel it was value for money so ate out on the remaining mornings. Overall our stay was really good. We slept incredibly well as beds were comfy and hotel very quiet. Would definitely stay again if we ever return to Aveiro.
