We have been supremely looked after during our stay at Fortaleza do Guincho. Petra (the GM) and her Team have really looked after us, so much, and the hotel itself is one of the most beautiful we have visited in Portugal. We have been to Cascais and Lisbon before, but if anyone wishes to truly experience staying by the ocean, to feel the ocean breeze, to have the luxury, privacy and most incredible views, Fortaleza do Guincho is the best place. We loved the place so much we returned a week later, and stayed in one of the suites (we highly recommend 210 - totally worth it, the most beautiful views, and you will have the best sleep of your life with the sound of the ocean in the background). We genuinely feel overwhelmed by the kindness of the team, where we have visited after a very stressful period, and so it's supremely appreciated, where again Petra and the Team have gone above and beyond. Thank you so much, we know where we will be staying the next time we return to Lisbon, and thank you all so much again. Sidenote - we also highly recommend the beaches here - truly local, not too touristy at all, and feels very private. It's been amazing - the wind definitely wakes you up, but it's all part of the experience - and very family friendly!
