Holiday Inn Express Lisbon Oeiras

We went to celebrate Valentine's Day, the check-in was a little hurried, as it was Valentine's Day I asked if it was possible to prepare anything to make our stay more pleasant, they explained that they would only do it if I paid for it, I paid and I received a bouquet of flowers in the room that had an unpleasant smell, for this we had to put the bouquet of flowers in the trash. The breakfast is good, the hotel price is reasonable and the room is cozy.

Hotel that does not meet expectations. Cleanliness is nefarious, the dining and reception chairs have dirt, there are black areas of dirt. I've never seen anything like it in a hotel before. The towels are not white, they are gray and smell anything but clean. The sofa bed is horrible, there is no way to sleep there as the surface is not horizontal, with pity. Finally the breakfast, which even having it included we preferred to pay for it and go elsewhere. The juice of powders, the sliced bread tasted like straw and the butter totally tasteless. Without words, I would not return to this hotel.

Location is a downfall. Public transport is >10 minutes walk and can take up to 1hr+ to Lisbon city centre it’s not easy! I would have not stayed here just because of the location. Uber or Bolt takes about 20minutes get to Lisbon and it’s not cheap. The hotel it self was very clean, comfortable, quite surroundings and the breakfast was very nice. Staff were very friendly. There's a very nice restaurant where locals go, we walked around 8 minutes from the hotel it’s called Restaurante O Conejo just be aware of the opening times. Lidl is next to the hotel which was very convenient, and a large gym at the back (separate establishment)
