During my first visit to Portugal I resided in Dolche Cascais Guest House, which has naturally become my home for 2,5 weeks.
It was a business trip, therefore I needed the room comfort, a working internet, a suitable location, quietness, independence- and all of these needs were met here.
My stylish room with a balcony overlooked a nice green garden which was pacifying.
Every day I had a buffet breakfast - a nice variety to start a day, but they have all facilities for those who love cooking and trying local recipes made from products bought in nearby “mercado" and supermarkets.
Walking to the center and the seaside took approximately 20 min. What's important,
there is a convenient system where a guest can come and go at any time convenient- which is important for travellers and those who came on business.
I liked the environment, the attitude and I do hope to come back again one day.

Our host was so friendly and helpful. There was a good breakfast bar. The guesthouse is well located and comfortable. There is a lovely garden space to relax in with Charles, tables, deck chairs and even two hammocks!

We stayed at Dolce Cascais a week ago and found the owners to be friendly and extremely helpful. Unfortunately they were fully booked so we could not stay for longer. The room was spacious, spotless and with everything we needed. The breakfast was freshly prepared every day and very attractively displayed. You could have breakfast inside or outside on the terrace while listening to the birds. We travelled with our 8 year old daughter and there were loads of toys and books to keep her busy. The day we left for Lisbon we forgot our passports in the safe. The owner Duarte saved us a trip all the way back to Cascais by organizing for our passports to be dropped at our hotel in Lisbon. This is really going above and beyond the call of duty. We would certainly recommend Dolce Cascais to anyone who wishes to visit Cascais.
