The team my boy was in was allocated this hotel by the IberCup tournament organisers and it was the worst part of the whole tournament. Whilst the room we were in on the 6th floor was fairly modern, in fact the aircon sometimes didn’t work at all and the aircon controller unit light flashed annoyingly throughout the night. Even worse was the water supply. It was always very feeble, but sometimes didn’t work at all, then after 5 minutes would start to dribble and splutter. Some mornings it was impossible to take a shower. Otherwise, no bar or proper restaurant in the hotel. There was a breakfast buffet and on a couple of occasions they provided lunch and dinner for IberCup participants, but on all occasions we had food from this hotel, it was basically (what I would imagine to be like) prison food. No shops or restaurants in the area - at least not within a 10 minutes walk. Avoid.

Before arrival, I requested a pool-facing room, but instead I was allocated a room next to the lift and staircase. It was noisy throughout my stay. When I asked if I could change rooms, I was simply told the hotel was fully booked, so nothing could be done. The room also did not have a water kettle, which I consider a basic amenity in any hotel. Every evening I had to go down to the lobby to collect hot water. On the second night, the hot water machine in the lobby was out of order. Only after repeatedly insisting that I needed hot water did the reception reluctantly lend me a kettle. I cannot understand how a hotel can operate without providing such a basic necessity in every room. To make matters worse, after a few days the room door became faulty and would not close properly. I had to leave the room door open while waiting for assistance. I requested another room, but again I was told there were no rooms available. The staff were not particularly helpful in resolving the issue. The room telephone was also defective. I could hear the reception, but they could not hear me at all, making it unusable whenever I needed assistance. Overall, it felt like one thing after another. Between the noisy room, missing kettle, faulty hot water machine, defective door, broken telephone, and the lack of effective assistance from the staff, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I would not recommend staying here.

Good Hotel, but not flexible about managing the date of check-in and check-out. The room was ok and the breakfast was good. Clean and well located
