Residencial Amparo

I only stayed one night in the Amparo residence, but it was a good stay. The room was fine for my needs. I reserved a cheap budget room and that's what I got so it was fine. No view to speak of and the room was in need of redecoration but as I said it was their budget room. Breakfast was nice (usual continental stuff) Staff can speak a little English so that was helpful as my Portuguese is very limited.

Small hotel in a great location near the ocean and local restaurants and bars. Very average bedding, felt springs. Decent breakfast. Very reasonable price. Perfect for enjoying the last day. Transfer near the airport.

The staff is very nice, but... The photos overstate the hotel. About ten mosquitoes in the room, dirty bathroom, poorly insulated room (you can hear the wheels of the suitcases with the door closed), dirty and stained sheets, uncomfortable bedding. It pains me to write this review, because the staff seem nice, but for those who want to sleep well, don't come here.
