Hotel Girassol Porto

They put us in a room where next door they were doing renovations, They started using the jackhammer and the drill at 7 a.m. It was impossible to rest and this affected the whole trip as we were tired. I asked to speak to a manager but I couldn't as they kept telling me he was in a meeting. This morning (the day of departure) they started at 8. That room was not to be assigned to anyone as that kind of noise is unbearable. If you take a vacation you have the right to rest easy and not have to stay on a construction site.

Well... they dropped it... Very old and unmaintained... dirty walls, a bedside table, rusty, very very finished could at least maintain respect for the customer and the city. Too bad it's well located

We stayed one night. Everything was perfect, a very warm welcome, the room was clean and very cute. Nothing to say, I highly recommend! The quality-price ratio was amply respected. The TV works very well (there are a lot of channels, in particular, from different countries). The only small “problems” I could point out are, the fact that the hairdryer didn't work (or we didn't understand how to turn it on), and one of the shelves next to the bed started to fall. There is also the trace of an old mirror on the wall (which could displease future customers). Thank you very much to the hotel staff for welcoming us!
