Quality Inn Portus Cale

Great hotel. The reception staff are very helpful, they gave us tips on what to see and do in the area, and organised a taxi for us back to the airport. The beds in the room where comfortable and the hotel was quiet even though it was on a main road. The hotel was cleaned to a high standard and towels and bedding replaced frequently. Breakfast was good and well presented. You can walk into the centre of Porto. It took us about 40 minutes, we tried different routes but we liked the route down past jardins do palacio de Crystal the best. This is a lovely garden with great views of the river, and has toilets and a cafe. Another great place to visit was Bom Successo. Lots of choice of food and only a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We loved Porto, everyone was very friendly. I will be recommending this hotel to my friends and family.

What a wonderful hotel. We received a warm greeting and from that moment the Reception staff were so helpful and friendly. They answered our many questions about how to get here and there. Thank you. The room was very comfortable and clean. It was serviced each day to a high standard. Lots of storage, large bathroom and a comfy bed. The breakfast was a good buffet standard with lots of choice. It is just a 5-10 minute walk from the Metro station Casa da Música.

Our double room was large and cosy with very comfortable beds.There was a large bathroom with rain shower and toiletries.The room was on the 6th floor, and the elevators worked smoothly. One of the best was the kindness at the reception - you were always greeted with big smiles both when you came and when you went. The hotel is a little far from the city centre, but you have chosen it yourself.In contrast, the taxis are very cheap. The breakfast was ok, but the same every day. The cocktail sausages were some weird little milk blocks,but the coffee was excellent. Super stay in a beautiful city with very friendly people.
