Vera Cruz Hotel

Hotel with outdated rooms, ugly decor and bad breakfast. Positive point: location - although it is terrible to take your luggage out of the car, because the "CHARGE AND DOWNLOAD" spot if it is busy, the hotel does nothing to unoccupy it. We had to take about 3 turns to get to stop the car (on the street) to take out the bags.

Good 2 star hotel. Located on a side street to City Hall and it takes only a few minutes to walk to Santa Catarina - the commercial street - and about 10 minutes to walk to the Bento station. The room had a small balcony and fridge. Clean and tidy. Housekeeping every day. The breakfast buffet was OK - but not extravagant. Very nice staff at the front desk. Popular restaurant next door - often queue on the street.
