Casa Dos Lagos Turismo De Habitacao

The rooms were extremely old style, not too clean, had a few big bugs, Booking.com didn't tell me we (5 people in 2 rooms) had to share one bathroom (wich also held the toilet) that was connected to both rooms, nor that we had to pay cash, the wifi was not working, the atmosphere was extremely musty....But the lady-owner tried so hard to make us comfortable and almost everything in the breakfast was homemade and the view so great that I do feel better about this hotel.

We spent one night at Mrs Andrealina's house. It was a great experience, the house is really beautiful (she lives here) with a swimming pool and with clean and spacious rooms. We were located in the house at the ground floor, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a livingroom: it can be also used for longer stay (there is also a kitchen). Not in the city center (is 7km from Braga) but with a fantastic landscape. Mrs Andrealina is a marvellous guest! Don't miss her tales on the house!

Casa dos Lagos is not located in Braga but 7 km out of town in Bom Jesus (3 minute walk from the well know Church.) A lot of traffic comes by (even late at night). The house is situated next to the road. The B&B is run by a friendly older woman. The apartment we rented was located on the first floor. The tiny balcony was beautiful to sit and watch out over the hills (and all the new buildings around Braga!). Living in the apartment is like being set back 40 years. Classic furniture and small double beds. A couple of things to keep in mind. It's a pity that the WIFI connection in the appartmentbuilding is very poor or even not available. On the website is indicated that there is WIFI in the common rooms. This is not in the appartmentbuilding. You have to go to the house of the owner next to the appartements (you can sit in the living room in the howners house). Although the apartment we rented was ment for 4 people there is a boiler that heats water for only one person. Casa dos Lagos is a charming and clean place but could use some investments to match with modern standards. Now its to expencive!
