Aqua Thermal Spa&Relax Hotel

Positives: - The tranquility of the place and the comfortable bed where I rested well. The bathroom with the legendary bidet that I cannot do without (a rare thing outside of Italy). Very kind and helpful staff. Clean environment and spacious room. Negatives: - Scarcity of internal parking. Evening kitchen hours (only from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) are somewhat problematic for those in transit like me, with the uncertainty of travel times. Additionally, for breakfast in the morning, there is another problem if one wants to leave early (from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM). The reception is on the first floor, accessible by a staircase, so those with heavy luggage may struggle a bit, and I am not sure if there are other more convenient passages for those with mobility issues, since the door leading to the internal courtyard was closed.

Very friendly staff, clean room and spa area. Ample breakfast, there are no wishes left unfulfilled and the dinner very tasteful even the plum brandy and the delicious house wine. Can only recommend to anyone. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, you are in the right place. No need to set alarms, that's what the pedestal from the neighbouring house does.

A pleasant surprise was the mini-vacation at Hotel Aqua Băile 1 Mai. From the warm welcome at the reception, to the welcoming rooms, the excellent breakfast, and the SPA center as well: the pool with thermal water, the saunas, everything clean, impeccable. I found the "emotional" shower and the hydration corner very pleasant. A few remarks: I liked the furniture in the room and the minimalistic sconces, less the lack of drawers and the very dim sky light made it difficult to read in the evening. Satisfying dinner, excellent soups, as well as the appetizer, less the second course which I would have preferred with a greater variety of vegetables and the meat prepared a bit more "inventively". The plumm brandy was of quality!
