Deja Vu Villa

The Pension is located a 20 minute pleasant walk to the old town, cross over the famous Podul Elisabeta bridge, and sample the inexpensive Romanian cuisine. Looking at Google travel I located the no 30 bus which brought me to heart of town. Friendly helpful staff and an adequate breakfast. Being a Brit I like my sausage, bacon and eggs. There was a daily European continental spread but I've been advised that during the upcoming busy summer they're going to incorporate the former mentioned English fayre. The rooms are inexpensive, and I enjoyed a comfortable 4 days I was there.I

My daughter and I loved Deja Vu in Cluj! It was easy to get to and very clean and quiet. The breakfast was Delicious with some Romanian dishes. The girls at the desk were friendly and helpful. If you enjoy smaller off the beaten path you will love Deja Vu.

Room #5, "Deluxe" (345ron/night) - sewage smell in the bathroom - broken shower, flooded the bathroom. Also very uncomfortable both for showering and bath. - bent curtain rods, old dirty curtains - 4 types of furniture, from old and unkempt to cheap and deteriorated - dressing room is a joke, with 2 narrow shelves and one bar wall to wall with 3 wire hangers - uneven floor, stumbled many times - dirty windows - empty minibar (we arrived at 22.00, luckly there was a non-stop store nearby) - dirty radiator. Also they shut down heating early morning, we woke up Staff was nice though, but the rooms need serious improvement.
