Best Western Savoy Hotel

Great location, great all inclusive cousine with plenty of local and delicious food, beach bar with quality drinks, sunbeds and umbrella inclusive. Friendly and helpful international staff. We had a wonderful time at Savoy hotel at Black sea.

We went back to Hotel Savoy (we were also 2 years ago) at the end of August 2025 (27th August-01st September) for 5 nights with the AI package and I can say that I am impressed. I booked an apartment for 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 8 years) and received the matrimonial apartment with a frontal sea view (5015 on the 5th floor). I can say it's wow. The surface of the apartment is very large, it has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower cabin and one with a bathtub, which, although they seem renovated a few years ago, look very good and are equipped with quality cosmetics. The apartment also has a kitchenette with sink and refrigerator (refilled daily with beer, soft drinks and water), coffee maker and electric mug. The furniture is ok, a double bed in the bedroom with very good mattresses and a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room. There is also a desk and glass coffee table with chairs. Also, the carpet in the living room and bedroom was new and of very good quality... you could actually sink into it. The apartment has a frontal view of the sea and a huge terrace (approx. 25 sq m) with access from the living room, furnished with deckchairs and a sofa and armchairs. And the bedroom has a normal balcony with armchairs and a table. Cleaning was done daily, towels changed daily if necessary, sheets changed every 2 days. There is led TV and air conditioner in every room and it works well. The hotel is right on the beach (has a large private beach) and offers sunbeds with free mattresses and beach towels both on the beach and at the pool (which is heated). The hotel has a policy of not booking them, which I think is good. And one more thing, the first 2 rows of sunbeds and umbrellas, from the sea, were reserved for the guests staying in the apartments, which was great. The access of people who are not staying in the hotel is not allowed. They also have an indoor and a huge outdoor playground (1500 sq m) for kids which is great. and every evening there are entertainment shows for children with story-theatre plays, or puppet theater and dance shows plus a mini disco. After this, every evening there is also a music and dance show for adults (for example Greek / Oriental / Turkish dances). During the day there are entertainers for children disguised as Disney characters and clowns who shape balloons plus face paintings About the food, I can say it's great. The breakfast was very good with salami and cheeses of very good quality, salads, omelets, cheese, cereals, coffee (espresso and cappuccino too), tea, water, orange juice (from concentrate, but good). Lunch and dinner were very, very good, the best I have experienced in Romanian restaurants on the Romanian coast. They usually have 2 types of soups for lunch and grilled dishes every day for every lunch/dinner with different types of meat: pork, chicken, beef, lamb, which was excellently cooked. They also have cooked food (for example: ratatouille) and this was very good and properly cooked; every day they offer different types of variously prepared fish, seafood, various types of pasta, lasagna, etc. In addition to these, they had many types of fresh salads, rice, fried potatoes, mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, green peas and others. At every table there was plenty of food and they were filling all the time, there were never queues. Maybe the presentation can be improved a bit to make it more attractive, but it's better like this, high quality, than a nice presentation and I want to give my appreciation to the restaurant manager (and the team of course) who was a nice young lady who was looking after her all the time. They also serve snacks (pizza, hot dogs) in the afternoon and ice cream all the time at the pool bar and beach bar The drinks were good too... they have the full range of soft drinks pepsi cola, mirinda, 7 up, mineral water, the full range of Lipton drinks and teas, plus beer, Prosecco and red/rosé/white wine from the Cotnari winery. Also quite good quality alcohol (Johnnie Walker Red Label, JB, Smirnoff vodka, Campari, Rum Captain Morgan, Aperol, Gordons gin all flavors and others) and they served in abundance; the bartenders prepare all kinds of cocktails, both with and without alcohol Parking is free on site and they have free wireless that works well both in the hotel and on the beach.

Cleanliness, friendly staff and attentive to any request, and about the food, what can I say… I could give 6 out of 5… sufficient, varied, tasty food, cooked with quality ingredients.
