Palm Beach Hotel

I booked 4 nights at this hotel including the new year's eve from december 30 until january 3 by Mareea Tourism Travel Agency. We were impressed by pictures of the pool but that was a real swamp in reality. It was terrible! When I entered the hotel lobby I felt a conspicous niff of mould and the general impression was of a dirty place. Shortly after accommodation I realized that it is very cold inside the restaurant and the room. I asked for a thermometer and I read 17 degrees Celsius inside the room and 14 degrees on the bathroom. The shower water was cold, too. The staff from reception was friendly and offered me an electric radiator for that night.I told the hotel owner about the low temperature (a strange and arogant person) and he promised me to increase the temperature to 20 degrees by the new year's eve's. I stayed that night there and on the next day I asked Mareea to change the hotel for me and my familly and they did it very soon. How is possible to receive 4 stars hotel rating when you cannot supply basic comfort like hot water for shower or heat indoor the hotel?

Although receiving the reception was good, when we arrived we found the pool very cold, dirty sunbed sites, the windows do not close, the current ceiling could fall smell of mold, rust metal parts .... hotel Although the site has 5 * in reception displayed surprise ... there were only 4 *. The owner / boss arrogant, boisterous .... an old man from a strange nationality ... super undirected customer !!

This hotel every year seems to amaze me , first of all the hospitality is great, the rooms are amazing but most of all it seems like an adventure every single year. The staff is 5stas the food is 5stars and cleanliness is 5stars but the best part is that no other hotel can compare to palm beach hotel Mamaia. But most of all I feel at home.
