Hotel Alexandra

Nice hotel, good service for low prices. Close to the city center. Big parking free of charge for guests. Big apartments, we'll equipped. Clean. Breakfast basic but good. Fine wi-fi internet in the room. Few markets and gallery nearby. Polite stuff, speaking English.

In this hotel, we stayed a dozen times since its opening. The hotel needs renovation and hygiene is not satisfactory. Old, defective TV, very poor wifi, odor in the rooms ... The beds are still comfortable and the linens are clean. Breakfast is satisfactory. We won't go back to this hotel unless something changes.

I stayed here with a travel group in January 2017. The hotel location is excellent. But the service was only so-so. Breakfast was pretty sparse and plain. The rooms were huge but a bit ragged and not as clean as one could wish. I had the distinct impression the hotel was understaffed. Rooms on the street side can be really loud at night in this university town, especially on weekends.
