In a nutshell. Quite a normal hotel with paid and free parking under cameras and a buffet (not reaching 4****, for 3*** - quite). There is a special feature - free access (from 13:00) to a sauna with a mini-pool and a gym. Why is the rating not 5 out of 5? The location is lame. A bit far from the center. It’s a long time even by car - 15 minutes on a weekend. Although, apparently, this is normal for Bryansk. We made our way through the city from Dyatkovo for about an hour. A bunch of stupid traffic lights on narrow roads in the private sector. So I approached a separate topic. Bryansk and surroundings. The city is not for tourists. There is NOTHING to watch, nothing interesting. Something like Ivanovo. The old part was completely destroyed. The most interesting place is Tolstoy Park with wooden sculptures. The Burning Bush Temple in Dyatkovo is supposedly the 8th wonder of the world - a remake that has neither historical nor artistic value. Don't waste your time! Approximately the same churches are in Bryansk itself. The exception is the Svensky Monastery - restored and really beautiful. But inside the temples everything is the same. Mainly whitewash. What are the conclusions? If it weren’t for a decent hotel with huge rooms with 3(!) windows and if it weren’t for the sauna and swimming pool in the hotel, there would be nothing at all to do in a city that is uninteresting from a tourist point of view.

Big room, nice restaurant and good selection for the breakfast. Staff almost does not speak English. I did not have any problems with that as I speak Russian, but for those who did not, it was a bit confusing. Free Wi-Fi in the room and locked parking space for the car. Normal hotel, it can be recommended.
