Dom Hotel

Check in was fast, but it took them several hours to photocopy my passport which is always annoying. Room was very nice and comfortable. A/C worked which is better than Novotel (no a/c at all) and Hilton . Comfortable work space and bed. No gym. Very complete breakfast. Coffee machine in room , but only one capsule for it, and no kettle. Internet was not great but worked. Still, better than the big chain hotels in Krasnoyarsk.

I stayed at the hotel for a day in summer although it rained most of the time i was there. Its an old structure and i could almost imagine the history that took place within the walls. The alley leading to the hotel ends in a cul de sac that acts as the entrance and drop off. I chose this over the standard chain hotels as i was told this hotel provides Siberian hospitality. I wasn't disappointed. The check in was extremely pleasant with the check in staff very friendly, efficient and provided good insider info on the best restaurants to go to. The rooms have been renovated and provide modern ammenities and standard business room facilities. I will recommend this charming old, modern hotel.

We stayed two nights on the 2d floor. The room was just big enough for a family of four. Beds were good and staff is friendly. We took advantage of the free on-street parking and close to the bus station. Recommended breakfast location close to the hotel: "Britanskiye Uchenyye" Mira 109 where we have found marvelous pastry and fresh super-drinks.
