Mercure Arbat Moscow

Nice hotel near Arbat (50 m) and Smolenska metro. The room is spacious, comfortable, slept wonderfully. Breakfasts are lovely, lots of dishes. On the downside: the bathroom was cool and constantly (apart from the interval of about 00-5am) depressed noise from subway trains, probably not very deep subway or noise on concrete was transmitted, but it was not too stressful

We had an EXCELLENT experience staying at this hotel on our first trip to Moscow and the Arbat district. Everything from the time you walk in to the hotel, the front desk staff professionalism and its location close to the main points of interest makes it a perfect choice for the traveller. I also want to commend that front-desk staff for going out of their way and being very helpful in checking us in early (7am) without extra charges and also providing us with storage during checkout whilst we continued visiting the city (our flight was only 11pm). With that, a much deserved 5-star rating, two-thumbs up and A+ all the way. Thank you Mercure Arbat - we'll be back again!
