Vladykino

We stayed at this hotel with children for 4 nights and could barely stand it. The hotel does not even qualify for a three. In appearance, this is not even a hotel, but a residential building. Good reviews are probably written for the gift they give at the reception. The photo of the rooms on the website does not at all correspond to what is stated. When we asked to change the room, they refused, citing the fact that the rooms were all occupied, and after the renovation they only had luxury rooms. They said, well, what did we want from the three. We booked a comfort room and were given a room with a round, shabby bed, the sofa was also dilapidated, all the furniture was very old. The laminate is in terrible condition. Curtains, wallpaper and windows are all stained. The plumbing leaves much to be desired, the hose with the watering can was leaking, it was replaced upon request. The bathroom and toilet were only clean in appearance; they filled everything with bleach. The trash was taken out on the first day, but on the second day I had to call to have the trash taken out and the dirty floor washed. The cleaning lady came not happy, as if I owed her something. The staff is not friendly, except for security. The price for such disgusting rooms is overpriced, the four are the same, but the rooms at least correspond. I will never go to this hotel again and will not recommend it to others 👎

The hotel was excellent. This was the first time we had organized the whole trip on our own so we were worried about how it would look. Turns out the hotel was great and we had no qualms! The staff is very friendly. We were given a room on the 13th floor which meant a beautiful view of the surroundings but also the fear that the elevator would not break. For our 10 days, the elevator did not work one day but it was repaired very quickly and the other elevator was also renovated. The room was huge, we practically had an apartment, a large bed that was very comfortable, a table and chairs in the room, a wardrobe, a large makeup table, a hallway, a bathroom with a bathtub, a kitchen with a dining area and a balcony. Everything was very clean and tidy, tidying up the room was daily. The room is equipped so that it is possible to prepare breakfast or some small meal during the day. All praise for this hotel, when we are back in Moscow we will definitely stay in it. In terms of price / quality, it is rated 10.

My employer booked it for me. Even before I was able to see my room I realized where I got. Ignorant staff totally disinterested in helping. Every next day there is a new smell but each day it is disgusting. One of the two elevators us usually closed, often both do not work. I don't envy people who booked the 12th floor. Rooms ("apartments") themselves are ok'ish but I killed a roach in my bathroom. Only one in 5 days though. If you want to experience a classic soviet hospitality, definately book!
