Hotel Bentley

Usually I am a difficult person and I tend to look into very quiet and clean hotels. I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Dec 2018. The location is great and very close from restaurants of all kinds, supermarkets. Its also close to tram and bus (5min) and within 10 min walk to 3 different metro stations. i stayed in a single bed room and although the room was small it felt very cosy, clean and tidy. The housekeeping was doing a great job. And I have to say it was very quiet room (after I unplugged the fridge). The staff in the reception very helpful. The only drawback in this hotel is the breakfast. Although the portions are ok its not tasty and not cooked well. The could have served a bit more bread and the omelette is bad. You can skip breakfast and enjoy bakeries and cafes in 5 min walk distance. But if I ever go back to Moscow I would like to stay there again.

Basic hotel in the Moscow centrum. 2 km to Red square. Excellent choice for me, as the hotel is very close to the out Office. The breakfast in the diner is not the best one (three choices to choose), but will do. The Pokrovka street has been slightly renovated since my last visit, and there are good restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby.

I spent two nights during a Business Trip to Moscow. The entrance is quite secluded and it stands on the left side of the building. As soon as you open the door there are some stairs: this is not ideal of course if you are carrying a heavy luggage but if you are lucky there's a young chap that is willing to give you a hand. At the reception out of 2 ladies (they usually are on different shifts) only one could speak English - she was actually quite friendly though. The hotels has few rooms all located on the same floor. I had a single room with a single bed and the room was ok in size, but not massively large. As I am used to a queen size bed, I find it odd sleeping on a single bed. For the shower: it takes about 5 mins before the water gets actually hot. On the second floor there's an american diner: the burgers are not bad but I would suggest to go and explore other restaurants in the area, especially if you are looking for something typically Russian. The location thought is very good as it is close to the tube and only a 20 mins walk from the Kremlin.
