Taganrog Congress Hotel

Very good conditions for a business trip. Clean and quiet rooms, good breakfast, good location near stores and park. Nice reception personnel. I recommend this hotel for business purposes. We hope to visit Taganrog soon.

I had a kind of studio room quite large.There is no tea or coffee for self-preparation Bed so comfortable, Sometimes hard to speak with front desk, not all personnel can speak or understand English so well. Breakfast is good, 4 or 5 choices among hot dishes like omelette or fried eggs, The sweet side is good .

Old Style hotel, stayed there for 5 weeks. I had a kind of studio room quite large. Bed not so comfortable, need to get used after some days. Sometimes hard to speak with front desk, not all personnel can speak or understand English so well. I had many problems with Wi-Fi and after complaining 4 or 5 times (including my intention to change hotel) finally they fixed it by positioning a new router next to my room. Room very clean, no problems at all from this point of view. Breakfast is good, 4 or 5 choices among hot dishes like omelette or fried eggs, rice or pasta (at breakfast! Ok I'm Italian and I couldn't accept this, ah ah ), chicken fired steaks, meat balls, wurstel, pancakes,ecc. Then some fresh vegetables and cold cheese and ham/bacon and fresh yogurt.The sweet side is a little bit poor, just few muffins and pastries. No hot milk, only cold. Fruit juices choice limited. I tried many times the restaurant and even if menu is short the quality is good. They have three or four choices of italian pasta and I like how they do Carbonara, finally without cream (common mistake outside Italy to put cream)! Also is good the presentation of dishes, it shows passion. In my opinion hotel should be renewed a little bit especially in the lobby and they should train better the personnel in English language. Also it would be nice to install a gym for guests workout, sauna and why not, massage service! Another very annoying thing was the fact that each week they were asking for payment (!) first time it happened to me, very strange hotel policy.
