All the reviews written here are pretty old. Maybe the hotel was really good once... For starters, the information and photos on the hotel's website do not correspond to reality. If you look at the information about the Standard Double room, you will see the information, the area of the room is 20m2, up to three seats. We booked this one for a family of three: two adults and one child for eight nights. In fact, the room turned out to be about 14-15m2. Two single beds were made into a double bed and a cot was added. At the same time, you can forget about the space to move around the number. Perhaps for short-term arrivals, it is not so critical, but in our case, after strolling through the beautiful city, would like to get the declared comfortable room. They approached the front desk about a possible replacement, but the answer was that there was no possibility. At the same time, people were regularly seen moving out and stopping by the hotel for weekends, i.e. short-term. In other words, it's not very customer-oriented. A lot of feedback on silence. It's probably not about this hotel. Room windows open onto the driveway, which carries heavy traffic, including dump trucks. Because the driveway is narrow and crowded with houses, noise from the street is significant even when the window is closed. Noise insulation between the rooms and the hallway also leaves a lot to be desired. For several days, or rather evenings, there were television broadcasts from the next room. The front door to the room is a regular interior door of not the highest quality, so you could hear the belated guests returning, respectively and the neighbors could also hear us well. Room furnishings are cheap. The sweat cabinet swung like a not-so-sober sailor when opening/closing. Zoning lighting in the room is not from the word at all. The lighting in the shower is not enough, the lamp above the mirror is shining upwards, it is not clear why. The exhaust fan is humming like a plane engine. And the big picture is complemented by an electric towel dryer that operates on an obscure schedule. Given the number of residents, as well as the frequency of changing towels (every three days), the existing towels did not have time to dry overnight. The towel dryer was reported to the administrator, who promised to look into it, but it never happened. Water from the shower stall leaked on the floor and a puddle formed in the area of the sink, probably this is normal practice, as regularly found after cleaning flushed towels in the area of the puddle. At one point, they found the toilet wobbly on landing. Also reported to the reception, the employee recorded and promised to send a specialist for elimination. But nothing changed this day or in the days that followed. At the time of booking, we paid for breakfast. But in my opinion, we'd rather eat outside the hotel. The number of seats in the restaurant clearly does not match the room stock. Several times they watched, and they had to wait for a table to be available. However, the staff was not always at liberty to prepare the table in time. What was particularly distinguished was the shift, which involved a girl waiter with whom a guy who was a bar employee was constantly trying to show interest. It's not bad when it doesn't interfere with work. It is also worth noting that the number of servings on the buffet is severely limited. Hotel guests had to wait several minutes for the table to be updated. Notionally, five people could have completely emptied the table. But there are no complaints about the quality of prepared dishes, everything is delicious and satisfying enough. The coffee was downright bad. The description of the hotel also mentions its own car parking. That's an exaggeration, to say the least. It's just a hotel courtyard that's used as a parking lot. The patio is not so big, sometimes cars are put in such a way that it is not easy to walk to the entrance gate, especially if you have suitcases. About lift and accessibility for people with disabilities The elevator is located only at the north end of the hotel. At the same time, the entrance/exit to the elevator on the interstorey areas. There are no ramps, which creates difficulties not only for wheelchair users but also for those with substantial luggage. Another unflattering remark about the work of the staff. One morning, a fire alarm went off at the hotel, the alert lasted several minutes. A number of guests were in the restaurant, at breakfast. However, no hotel staff member attempted to either arrange for the withdrawal of guests or to report that the alarm had been erroneously set off. Everything that was once good about this hotel was already there.

Stayed at this hotel for three days in August. Very nice, heartfelt, homemade. The hotel is located in the Kolomna area on the banks of the Buckle River . A 15-minute walk away is the park "New Holland" , a slightly nearby museum - apartment Block . The area is quiet and tranquil, away from tourist crowds. The owner of the hotel, an elderly gentleman makes his rounds every morning, asks the guests if they are all right, do they like everything? That's so sweet. Said that the products in the hotel are farmed from their farm, which is very great, we ate three days of very delicious cottage cheese, eggs, there were fresh berries, raspberries, currants. We also liked the sausages, the coffee was good .At 5 pm a tea table is organized for residents. The room was also nice on the 3rd floor, TV, safe, kettle, water , refrigerator, comfortable mattress , in the bathroom hairdryer and beauty supplies . In the lobby on the 1st floor you can buy souvenirs , tickets to the Mariinsky Theatre and ice cream Leningrad (tasty) And also coziness creates cat Mathis , hotel mascot . In general the hotel with a shower, everything liked ..But there are also shortcomings , I lower the star for a dirty extractor in the bathroom (photo attached) , , very stuffy in the hallway , the elevator kind of has , but as if it is not there, one floor will drive and then you have to go yourself to the floor or go down and so on 2 times , with the suitcase is not very comfortable , and the elevator itself is very overheated ..I think you need to book a room not higher than 2 floor to be comfortable

The hotel's pretty good overall. It's a 30-minute walk to the center. Buffet breakfasts. There's parking for cars. All the good emotions of hotel and accommodation are thwarted by theft. I forgot to put my purse in my suitcase, left it in my room, half an hour after I checked out, there was no purse anymore, and I loved it. They didn't find anything on the trail for a day and two days later they found nothing either. Other than stealing, you can't call it.
