Pros location. There's a parking lot, there's a spa. Cons bathroom in a superior room, that's something. Bathtub with curtain glue, mixer with leuk that should have been replaced 10 years ago. The water pressure is normal, but because the leuk is overgrown - none of it is pouring, it is impossible to wash properly. Maybe we're the only ones so lucky, but you couldn't open a window in a room on the third floor. Not at all. You can only ventilate the room with horseback. At the price from 12k per night you can allot funds for repairs in the san node and make modern. We checked in with a pet - surcharge for it 2000p night (no hotel charged us such a cone surcharge). They took breakfast. We were first allowed in for breakfast (pet dog king charles spaniel, 6kg, in a carry-on), then kicked out, then called to the second floor of the restaurant. Need I say, did we enjoy the service? Food itself is a scarce choice. Who cares - they give champagne at the entrance. Spa - do not have to rely on old reviews: there is no more free access to Spa for hotel guests. And the spa itself - the pool water is murky. The sauna was hot. The staff don't say hello except to the parking workers. No one's smiling.

She stayed in Ambassador for a couple of days. Overall the hotel is good, impressions remained positive. Breakfast was the best thing. The buffet is quite varied, everything is fresh, delicious, in the morning it is nice to sit with a cup of coffee and start the day quietly. The view is top. The hotel itself is classic style, looks solid. But to be honest, in some places it already feels like he could use a little upgrade. Nothing critical, just some of the interior looks a little morally outdated. The staff were polite, the room was clean, and there were no problems with the accommodation.

This is a great hotel and it's close to the Mariinsky Theatre and St Petersburg Chamber Opera. Big rooms, great views; the view from the excellent restaurant and breakfast setting is truly breathtaking. Russian champagne is served and we stayed here a week and found the breakfast tasty and varied. It has a very positive atmosphere. You'll see family reunions, romantic couples, families taking their children to see the sights of Peter, tourists like us and business people. Very friendly and professional staff. A great cocktail bar. We'll definitely be staying here again.
