Comfitel Primavera Hotel

My daughter and I stayed here for 3 nights in June. The location is excellent, right on Nevsky Prospect and within walking distance to many of the main sites. The staff spoke broken, yet very passable, English and were helpful. The room was clean, breakfast was always good and there is free wifi. My only complaint about the room is that our AC unit leaked onto the desk. We had to place towels under the drip to keep it from splashing into the electrical outlets and the TV. The desk clerk came and looked at the issue and said she would have it looked at. I have no idea if this happened or not, but it was still dripping when we checked out. The only other real issue is the entrance to the hotel. It's dirty and dingy with broken tile. It almost appears deserted. You take a small, cramped ( 1 person and 2 bags is cramped) elevator to the 4th floor where the rooms are located. The elevator was broken 2 days we were there so we had to take the stairs. They are dark, and until you get to hotel you would think the place was abandoned. Overall it's a very good choice and I would stay there again. There are nicer and more expensive around, but if you are really just using your room as a launching point for your visit then this hotel is a great choice. If you want luxury, I would keep looking.

We stayed here for 3 nights, and although there are nicer places around, think this little hotel is best value for money. It ticked all the boxes for us - free wifi, free breakfast, clean bathroom and bedroom, superb location on Nevsky Prospekt. It was comfortable and staff spoke English. I would choose again. Yes entrance is a little dark and not well signed, but as they are only on one floor of 4 don't think they can do too much about shared areas. We found it easily by the number (92).

Simply it is great.... The location , the price , the staff , and the breakfast. on Nevsky prospect near maykovskaya metro, Friendly staff and clean rooms,,,,,free tea and coffee all the day,,,and the price is reasonable.
