Radisson Royal Hotel

We stayed at Cosmos Selection Saint Petersburg with our family as part of a tour package to Russia. Overall, I would describe the hotel as average, with both positive and negative aspects. The hotel's location is definitely one of its strongest points. It is conveniently located near shopping areas, restaurants, and many attractions. I personally enjoy lively and busy neighborhoods, so I really appreciated the atmosphere around the hotel and found it easy to explore the city on foot. The building itself feels quite old, although this was not surprising considering the historic character of Saint Petersburg. The rooms were generally comfortable, but the hotel does not offer many modern leisure facilities. There is no swimming pool, and guests looking for extensive amenities may find the options somewhat limited. Breakfast was acceptable but not particularly impressive. There was a reasonable selection of food, but the variety of cheeses and some other items was quite limited compared to what I would expect from a hotel in this category. Overall, this is a decent hotel with an excellent location, but it may not fully meet the expectations of travelers looking for luxury facilities or a more modern experience

We are absolutely thrilled to stay at the Cosmos Selection Saint Petersburg Nevsky Royal Hotel! From the moment of arrival we were welcomed very warmly and carefully - there is a high level of hospitality. A special thank you for providing a room with stunning views - it really made our stay even more special and memorable. Breakfasts deserve separate words: varied, delicious, for all tastes, and the service - flawless. It's organized at the highest level. And, of course, I want to thank the reception team. Managers work not just 100%, but with a soul and a genuine desire to help every guest. You can feel it in every detail. Thank you for your wonderful holiday - we will definitely come back again!

When booking a room, keep in mind that you may be evicted by deception! My family and I came to this hotel to celebrate the anniversary by booking a suite on February 7. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was told that the room I had booked had not been vacated and had been extended. In return, they offered a better and more comfortable room. Thanks for that! But on the evening of the anniversary, sitting in a restaurant, I get a text saying that the room has been shorted and we're being asked to move to another room. Since there is no light and there will be no electricity, the electricians will only start in the morning, and for fire safety purposes, you cannot live in this room. When I arrived at the hotel, I didn't smell the scorch in the room, but what surprised me most was that everything was made, the bed was made, water was supplied, clean towels were laid out. Instead of continuing to celebrate, I, along with my wife and daughter, had to move things until 2 a.m. Something we didn't have time to reschedule, so we decided to do it this morning. What a surprise it was when I was told this morning that there were other people living in the room (it was early arrival).... It's very unpleasant that a hotel at this level is cheating and disrespecting guests. It is doubly unpleasant that this is not just a tourist trip, but a visit to celebrate the Jubilee. And the hotel management, knowing that, took such a deception. In this situation it is good for everyone (who extended their stay, who came earlier) except my family, at whose expense provided comfort to other guests. We weren't even saved by booking a room a month in advance, when all the suites were still available.
