Staybridge Suites

Our one-bedroom suite was very comfortable. I would definitely return. Positives: - Clean, modern furnishings - Well equipped kitchen with stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, fridge (sadly, no Nespresso machine or Freezer) - Lot of light and good views - Good service with a smile always - Large supermarket nearby - Close to Metro station - 20 min by taxi from central St. Petersburg - Immediate vicinity is safe and clean - though not much to do and not many places to eat. - Internet is fantastic. Got 250mbps on Wifi. And 150mbps on Wired Ethernet. - Bed was comfortable Negatives: - Apartment was small ... but not bad by European standards - Breakfast spread was limited - and the staff spoke no English (Sadly my Russian is not passable either). - Laundry is in a common area, and not in the apartment. But that was fine. Overall - a very good option in St. Petersburg. We stayed 9 nights and were glad we picked this place.

Staybridge Suites Saint Petersburg is located about 15 km from St. Petersburg International Airport (Pulkovo Airport). It is right next to Moskovskiye Vorota metro station making it very easy to connect to the city. It shares a walkway with another IHG property, Holiday Inn St. Petersburg – Moskovskye Vorota. We stayed here for 2 nights and booked the room using 25,000 IHG Rewards points per night. Based on the price of the hotel, it was an excellent redemption at the time. Check-in was quick and we were informed by the front desk clerk of the mandatory registration fee for foreigners. Staybridge Suites provides a complimentary breakfast buffet for all guests. The buffet did not have that many choices but it was still good. We stayed in an apartment with two suites, living room and kitchen. The hotel is linked to the Holiday Inn and shares restaurants with it. Next to the hotels you will find a large supermarket and a convenient subway station, which leaves you in the city center in 15 minutes. In addition to the convenience of the facilities, it offers an excellent breakfast, international standard, included in the daily rate. The distance from the center is largely offset by the comfort of the facilities and lower prices compared to hotels located in the city center.
