Our stay at the Grand Hotel Europe was exceptional. This iconic hotel perfectly combines historic charm with modern luxury. The location is outstanding, within easy walking distance of Nevsky Prospekt, the Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, the Hermitage, and many of the city’s other major attractions. The service was warm, attentive, and highly professional throughout our stay. Our room was beautifully appointed, spacious, and impeccably maintained, while the hotel’s elegant interiors reflect its rich history and timeless character. The breakfast was one of the highlights, offering an excellent selection of fresh, high-quality dishes in a beautiful setting. Every detail contributed to a memorable experience. We highly recommend the Grand Hotel Europe to anyone looking for a luxurious and authentic stay in St. Petersburg. It is truly one of the city’s finest hotels.

An elegant and luxurious hotel, splendidly located along Nevsky Prospect, with many attractions (Hermitage, churches, pier, etc.) within walking distance and, in any case, with a subway stop next to the entrance. It has welcomed many famous personalities over time. Everything exudes splendor. It hosts many events (when we went, they were also filming a movie), so you meet people in period costumes and/or very elegant and refined attire. Our room was a standard one and overlooked the hotel courtyard. However, it was comfortable and beautiful. The chocolates that were brought to us daily were very much appreciated, and at the end of our stay, the gifts consisted of two small bottles of perfume and a box of honey. All the staff are very kind, smiling, friendly, and very helpful. I would like to give special praise to the exquisite Ms. Natalia, who, understanding our difficulty in calling a taxi for the station (our internet connection was not working at that moment and the road in front of the hotel was closed to traffic), went beyond her duties and allowed us, despite the little time left, not to miss the train to Moscow by accompanying us outside, using her app, and giving phone instructions to the driver. She only left when she saw us inside the taxi. We would have never made it on our own! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

We stayed in a quiet, spacious Historical Room on the second floor with a beautiful view of the Russian Museum. The interior is elegant and stylish, the mattresses are very comfortable, and the pillow menu adds a thoughtful touch. The hotel is exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere with a true sense of Russian hospitality. The concierge service is outstanding — attentive, efficient, and genuinely helpful. We didn’t want to leave, which says it all. We will definitely be back. Breakfast deserves a special mention — one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in the past few years.
