Obuhoff Hotel

Nice hotel ....territorially far away by metro ...have to go by tram or bus ...or call a taxi ...cleaned every day ,in the room clean linen is carefully made ...brought half board ...nicely fed ...for breakfast sausage casserole sandwiches omelets porridge ...disgusting coffee 😃but always possible to drink tea 🌿♥️or order coffee from the coffee machine.dinner portioned salad patties potatoes ,pilaf ,bun for sweet ...lunch did not take ♥️🌿 ...staff polite ...near the hotel small park in the evening always possible to walk ..shop one around the corner 247 more shops have not seen ...the riverfront of the Neva and the bypass canal can be walked behind the hotel ...in general trip to St. Petersburg pleased ...

This is our second time staying at this hotel. Cozy, decent hotel. Staff work is 10+! (special thanks for your understanding, efficiency and attention to the guests). There is not enough kettle in the room (even for an extra charge). Breakfast in the hotel restaurant was sparse, but we didn’t leave hungry.

We stayed in this hotel for three days. Pros: convenient location, there is a cafe, the administrators are friendly, that’s all! Of the minuses: 1. there is no parking (which was mentioned during the conversation, in fact it’s just near the hotel without a designated space or in the yard, if you’re lucky). 2. Regarding food, it’s a different story: during the conversation, the manager said that it is necessary to book breakfast/lunch/dinner in advance on weekends. I wrote a letter in advance with a request to book lunch and dinner, but they told me that once you check in, you will go to the cafe and inform them there. The cafe told us that we had to make a reservation in advance. And one evening in the cafe they told us that there were no food and accordingly, there were only dumplings (for 800 rubles, two servings of 11 dumplings, but they were very tasty) 3. Lack of hot water in the rooms (we were there during the New Year holidays, it was -25 below zero, we couldn’t take a shower) 4. The rooms are cold. The radiators are hot, but there is so much draft from the windows that the radiators and the heater are of no help. 5. Shared bathroom. When booking, during the conversation, I clarified the point whether our room would have its own bathroom, to which they answered: of course, this category provides. Upon arrival (at 00.30) what we see: a section for two rooms, with a shared bathroom. I asked to be relocated. We were moved, the “new” room smelled disgustingly of cigarettes, as if we had just smoked, in the bathroom all the soap was used up and traces of hand wiping were visible on the towel. In the morning we found ashes on the windowsill. 6. Dripping from the ceiling. In the “new” room in the morning I woke up to the sound of drops and found two puddles on the bed. It was dripping from the ceiling. They asked to be relocated again. 7. The hotel is very dirty, during all this time we have not seen a cleaning lady or cleanliness. 8. There were no slippers in the room, but they were available at the reception for 100 rubles a pair. Not a complete set of personal hygiene products (lack of dental bills and toothpaste). 9. There is no instruction on how to contact the administrator. They called the number on the Internet, but did not answer the phone, and the internal number was not written.
