In addition to the many positive points such as proximity to the metro and hypermarket, currency exchange, and daily services for clean, quiet rooms with a spectacular view that were provided to us at this hotel, on my wife's birthday, without any request from us, upon returning to our room, we were presented with a special gift from the hotel, along with a birthday greeting card for my wife, which surprised us and multiplied the pleasure of our stay at this hotel and our trip to this country.

The interiors of the hotel seemed a bit dilapidated. In the hallways, in the room, I could smell a persistent stagnant smell. The standard room I lived in had problems draining in the bathroom, hardly any water left, showered knee-deep in soapy water. There is no upper light in the room, so you have to choose between opening the curtains and letting the occupants of the next building admire themselves, or walking around the room in semi-darkness, there are no options at all in the evening. Preliminarily booked on the website a table for a business meeting for 12:00 in a restaurant attached to the hotel (it was stated that it is open from 11:00), confirmed the reservation by phone. On the day of the meeting at the restaurant, I was informed that the restaurant was open from 3:00 p.m. The lady in charge of the restaurant service told me on the phone that she hadn't developed a website to make any claims against her. ⚠️ URGENT WARNING: DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IN ST. PETERSBURG! ⚠️ This is hands down the worst hotel in Russia — a complete scam and a nightmare for any traveler. They invent excuses to fine guests $100 every time for absolutely nothing. It feels like a trap set up just to steal your money. The place is filthy, disgusting, and falling apart. The rooms stink, the furniture is broken, and most lamps don’t even work — you’ll be sitting in the dark! There isn’t even a basic coffee machine at breakfast — in fact, breakfast itself is pathetic. The staff are incredibly rude, arrogant, and disrespectful. They treat guests like trash and will do anything to squeeze more money out of you. The atmosphere is hostile and unsafe — you will regret ever stepping foot here. This “hotel” should be shut down by authorities. For your own safety, DO NOT stay here. There are far better and safer places in St. Petersburg. Consider this your warning.
