Oualie Beach Resort Nevis

This was a great experience. Staff was incredible and the resort was lovely. Its the off season so probably quieter, but that suited us. I can understand why people keep coming back.

We had never been to Nevis, although we had visited St. Kitts as part of a cruise. My husband and I didn't know what to expect as we had won this trip as part of a charity auction. Well having come back after a week and feeling the most relaxed we have been in quite a while, I would say the trip and island did its job. Nevis is known as the sleepier part of the island compared to St. Kitts, and it was. However, it's what we needed. The water was a beautiful turquoise and warm, warm breezes all day, our meals were delightful and also full of surprises, and the people were friendly and always gave you a smile. Our cabbie, Ozzie Tyson, was also a delight and full of information about the island from his many years and generations of living there. Grateful to have discovered something new and coming home refreshed.

I've made 3 visits to the Oualie Beach Resort over the past 2 years associated with Yoga and SCUBA retreats through Amanda Parr. Your location, comfortably rustic island vibe and excellent staff make for a wonderful set of experiences. My first two visits were solo but in April my son joined me for a visit to Nevis. He was as throughly captivated as I have been. Preserve your amazing vibe. You are a jewel among the islands. Even Smokey the House Cat rememberd me from a prior visit.
