Bay Gardens Inn

We went to St Lucia during Jazz festival so quite a busy time. On arrival we went into hotel to check in and were advised the ceiling of the inn was being repaired so everything would be done in hotel apart from room. The room itself was adequate for what was needed however it looks dated but had what we needed. The cleaning was a bit hit and miss, we needed new bed linen so took the sheet off but when we returned it was just folded up on the bed without being replaced. The floor was not swept everyday, grounds etc are pretty. The staff were friendly great service Etanya (reception) Helena Leanne and Lucas restaurant, Jamal night porter. The thing that disrupted us was the building works in the inn with drilling and banging going on, bar wasn’t open but we used hotel, there is a shuttle up to Bay gardens resort which works well, resort is beautiful and on the beach which is beautiful

Great location...Service and food sub par. The rooms need updating. There were few friendly staff. If the rooms are modernized this would be a wonderful place

Arrived yesterday 05/05/2026 instantly charged £95 in resort fees, when questioned i was told it is all in one of the 4 leaflets given. Once I had time to digest said leaflet, some of the payments are voluntary. Wlzi wish the reception had taken the time to explain this as we were the only ones booking in at the time. I was quotes £59 by my booking reference. Booked a superior room, I feel sorry for anyone in a standard room. The toilet stopped working, I rang reception who informed me the maintenance man arrives at 7am. I had to walk across to the sister hotel to use the public area toilet. The balcony door only closes from the inside with the lock, as the door handles does not work. So if you wish to sit outside on the balcony, the AC will go off as the door does not close. I spoke about it to a member of staff who stated that is just the Bay Gardens Inn. This is the first 24 hours. I am sure I will have a progress update on my stay here. They are doing maintenance due to the ceiling of the reception area falling down, so everything is done via the sister hotel. I wish they had informed me of this before my arrival as it was sprung on us at reception.
