ISHRAQ AL MADINAH HOTEL

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel, its about a 3 min walk to the womens entrance on the north eastern side, our room was spacious with a mountain view, very clean and comfortable beds. (Not sure all the rooms are spacious, so would request that if you want that). The food was good at the buffet, we were there during Ramadan and sehri was included in the room rate which was really handy, and meant we didnt need to leave the hotel for food in the middle of the night. After prayer ending and a rush of people back, there wasnt really any issues with getting back to the room ok with the lifts as they fast and there are enough. The staff were all very friendly, they let us check in a couple of hours early which was very much appreciated. Would stay again and would recommend.

Stayed three nights, came at check in time, given room immediately. Room: small, after placing king bed, no space, furniture show wear n tear. Electronic control had issues, could not close the window curtain. Also poor noise insulation. Toilet: small, a bit dark, commode flush had problems but manageable. Hot n cold water inconsistent. Bangladesh room service guys were very nice, insisted on giving me many bottles of water as it was fasting month. Offered to clean room and change bed sheets daily. Food: had evening breaking fast meal/ dinner, it was extensive buffet, but manager and senior guys from North African/Egyptian guys were not doing anything, not welcome guests etc, they just sat and had dinner. Nobody came to clear plates. Food was replenished regularly. Location: five minutes walk to gate 338, very good location for women guests. Need to cross two busy roads. Not the greatest value for money, but Ramadan rate is tolerable.

Wow, a great experience staying here for four nights in Medina. We had a poor experience in Mecca with our hotel, so to be welcomed here at the Ruve with warm smiles, and great manners was superb to begin with. We had three rooms, a two twin rooms and a double room (which was upgraded for us free of charge by the lovely man on the desk). A special recognition for the staff member Amer Fayyadh, the man at the desk who was amazing with us throughout. He was polite, courteous and genuine and a proper gentleman. He upgraded me and my wife to a king size bed room, a room with so many extras and free of charge. He was kind and helpful throughout so the management at Ruve Al Madinah should definitely reward him to for his great guest experience - a special thanks to you Amer! The hotel itself is spacious, large and has plenty of lifts to go up to the floors, location is superb as you are right next to gate 339 which is the main ladies entrance so very convenient for the women in your group, and the men’s sections are available within a short walk next to them. There are many coffee shops, restaurants and food courts nearby all within a short walking distance of a couple of minutes. You can be the Masjid Al Nabwi within 1 minute from this hotel, the location is truly ideal. The breakfast isn’t amazing but it does the job - and this was the only downside to our stay here. Everything else was superb from start to finish with professional, courteous staff throughout who are more than helpful. We were checking out on Saudi foundation day and Amer and his colleagues insisted we stayed for slightly longer so we could indulge in some cake! We will definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Madinah, one day God willing we will. Thanks to all the Ruve, you were great! The rooms all have a touch pad by the bedside, which controls everything. The rooms have auto switch blinds which were cool, the touch pad also controls all lighting and air conditioning also. The wifi is lightning fast with fast speed routers on each of the hotels 13 floors
