Cerf Island Resort

10 minutes by boat from Mahé. The positives: each villa is huge, far from the next one, so there is a lot of calm and tranquility. Air-conditioned room, then a wardrobe and an outdoor bathroom. Large wall but no roof :-) A whirlpool bathtub. An enormous balcony (ocean view for us) we had a magnificent view of Mahé, very beautiful at night as well. The two swimming pools. The free kayaks and paddleboards. The underwater nature reserve. Small islands at reasonable distances. The staff. Five hundred-year-old turtles. The walk along the beach at low tide. The library. Reasonable prices and good food. On the way there, the boat was delayed and we waited a total of 30 minutes, but on the return, the two employees were very friendly, more than on time, so the first impression was not the right one :-) The negatives: You need to have good legs to walk to your villa or request transportation. There are not really any opportunities to walk in the middle of the island. There is no buffet for breakfast, but you can order fruits, toast, eggs in all forms, porridge, pancakes,... There is no computer room, but they lend you theirs for checking in for your return flight.

Cerf Resort is a gem nestled in lush vegetation located in the Sainte Anne nature reserve. It is a true paradise! The service is excellent and the staff is lovely and caring. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality. The room was sublime and the view was exceptional. We spent wonderful days snorkeling on the reef in front of the hotel, kayaking, or using paddle boards provided by the hotel, and we were able to go to Mahé thanks to the free shuttle at 9 AM that brings us back at 5 PM.

Super location, accomodation in villas with high comfort.excellent and friendly service, excellent food. 10 minutes boat shuttle from Eden Island /Victoria. Many opportunity for excursions.
