We went for day pass to celebrate my best friend’s birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience. A huge thank you to the amazing breakfast team at Café Lazare—Chantal, Emma, Amélie, Rona, Isabelle, and Fred—for making our morning so special with your warm hospitality and exceptional service. A special thank you as well to Dunzel and Christopher at the pool, who were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We have just returned from a week-long stay at Kempinski, and our experience left us us not only relaxed and refreshed but also with a feeling of being so well taken care of by the staff. Through interactions over breakfast and dinner, they learnt and remembered our particular likes and also took care of food intolerances. A special thanks to Chef Tushar and his team - they truly took care of everything and were so thoughtful to bring us off-the-menu allergy-free alternatives to make each meal a pleasant experience. Thanks so much for creating dairy-free dishes so I could enjoy a dessert! Big thank you to Fred and Dolraj for their kind thoughtfulness-- with whom we also enjoyed engaging conversations, and also Cheryna, Rona. This attention to detail by the staff was, beyond the resort's very scenic location and ample amenities, our stay's highlight. very professional but equally kind. There is no dearth of sun beds lining the beach, and you could still enjoy a private afternoon resting without ever feeling crowded. Sadly, the monsoon winds brought jelly fish to the beach shores, which made swimming in the resort waters out of bounds all week. We went to the Anse Soleil beach next door, which was equally quiet and relaxing, and no jellyfish! The weather stayed perfect day and night - pleasant and breezy 25 degrees. There's so much to do if you are looking to stay active during the stay - we enjoyed Padel and Tennis, and took the nature walk with Gaya to the mountain top and learnt a few things about the local vegetation. A special note for the ladies in red -- especially Yuliana and Lea-- whose recommendations and tips for getting around the island were on the mark every time. We truly had a relaxing time, with nothing to plan - simply soak in the sun and ocean, rest and recharge!
