HOLIDAY INN

Good location. Very kind employees, good breakfast, very clean and nice rooms. There is also one pool, but it’s quite small. There are also saunas and fitnes. Good place to stay if you’re spending few days in Bratislava.

As noted, my third stay at this hotel. As a member of Priority Club/IHG rewards prompted my choice but it is a nice Holiday Inn property. Front staff as nice as always, with special shout-out to Kamila who gave me two city bus tickets from her own for me to take the bus to the basketball game and back. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel is outside of city center but at more than half the price of the other IHG property in town the savings was worth it - plus it turned out to be just two bus stops from the basketball arena. There are multiple bus stops within a 1-2 block distance of the hotel. Only complaint was that I paid for breakfast and they ran out of several items with over an hour to go in the breakfast service time frame. I hope they will address that easily solved problem. All is all you can't go wrong.

Stayed here Thursday to Sunday (7-10 November) We had 4 rooms on the 10th floor. Rooms were as expected and you really couldn’t fault them. We used the bar on the Thursday as we arrive quite late. The barman was excellent with us. We had breakfast on the Friday morning and it was disappointing as they never replaced the fried eggs and a few other things when they ran out just as we arrived. ( to be fair we never said anything at the time ) We used the swimming pool and sauna, two mornings and this was welcoming after a few the night before. In all we had a great time in Bratislava, I certainly would recommend this hotel. It’s €5 into the city and €15 back. Beside the hotel we found two garages, a Lidl. You will also find a McDonald’s within a 10 minute walk.
