Protea Hotel Franschhoek

Other than the convenience, there is limited options. No teaspoons and orders takes long. The rooms are great and hotel located within walking distance of more restaurants for options

We arrived for a four night stay and were thrilled to be upgraded to their premier two bedroom apartment across the road. We had a wonderful stay in the very comfortable flat equipped even with a washing machine! The main hotel is beautiful, well run with great attention to detail. The breakfasts were very good as were the staff - particularly Carol who looks after the building with the self catering accommodation. All in all this is a lovely hotel in a beautiful town - we’ll certainly stay here again on our next visit.

Apart from a small hiccup with or room which was promptly sorted by Nico the manager everything was excellent, room was spotless, staff were all pleasant and helpful, breakfast was excellent, the whole hotel was well maintained and spotless, apart from the small hiccup all was first class, we’ll be back.
