Excellent service at this establishment. It is my hotel to go at any given time in Gqeberha. Both for business and family breakaways

I booked a king suite room only to get a room that was not the one I booked. Further to this the bathrooms condition was very poor. The Television in the room was so old and the channels were poorly showing. In fact the quality of the tv and channels were not the level one would expect of a hotel brand like the Southern Sun. In addition to this I specially booked a full sea view only to be given a side sea view. Very poor. When trying to take a bath, the water quality was very poor and dirty as well. The staff in the hotel wqs polite and accommodating to be fair and that was truly appreciated. I looked forward to a couples night with amenities and the room to match and sadly I was left very disappointed. Southern Sun, your brand is something I have always expected to be at the top level. Sadly, you have let yourself down.

After a horrible night in JBayholidays owned and managed by an unprofessional owner, we left after one night as the place was smelly and a weird set up! We drove onto Southern Sun the Marine, where we were met with very professional friendly staff and a wonderful clean room and clean linen was provided. The entire experience was fantastic especially after a very bad night before. Highly recommend the hotel. All the people that work in the hotel are exceptional and make it a marvellous place to stay, Thank you for making our trip great!
