The Sands @ St Francis

The setting is lovely and the beach is stunning! Be careful when going down to the beach as the steps are rusted and dangerous! I expected something special for our wedding anniversary (as mentioned when I booked)… but helas… nothing… not even a « Congratulations ». The staff can definitely be more attentive for an establishment like this. It was sometimes difficult to get hold of the receptionist and everyone seems a bit slow and unfocused. The outside gate of our outdoor shower couldn’t open properly.

Great location. Great value for money guarenteed. Services were exceptional from all workers. Views were stunning!

The staff were lovely, the food was good and the room was pleasant. However, the lack of privacy with the toilet was a big issue for me. There is no privacy from your partner at all - I don't mind that for a wee, but a number two is a step too far for me! The toilet is in the bathroom and the bathroom is open air to the bedroom, with just a blind between, which you need open for daylight really. No noise or smell barrier available at all!
