Garden Court Morningside Sandton

The hotel was easy to find and easy to connect to main roads. The room was well kept with well functioning comforts. Staff was also very responsive and helpful.

The room was smelly. The room is not soundproof. There are no plugs near the bed. There are no toiletries. The safe didn't work. There are no juice glasses. No fridge. No bottled water. No bath mat. Towels are small. Air con is loud and you can't set the direction of the fan. Breakfast was overcrowded. Parking is a problem.

On the positive side I did get a really nice welcome not from the manager on arrival. On the downside the door to my room is hanging from the hinge which leaves it knocking against the framw and it was clearly tightened too many times and needs to be replaced with a new door frame. This does however some up the overall condition of the hotel in need of a serious revamp. Even the placeholders with safety tips is old and creased and torn in places. It is clean so I do still recomend that you book this hotel for its good location.
