Quarters Avondale Road

Very nice place to stay. Comfy and cozy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Shops and restaurants close by. Not to far from Durban's main beaches. Good breakfast as well. I would recommend this hotel any time.

Recently spent a couple of nights at the Quarters Hotel on Avondale Road, an intimate place to stay off the beaten track, well appointed, clean and great staff. Breakfasts were great. In close walking proximity to Florida Road night life. Well worth a stay.

We stayed here one night after an overnight flight from the UK. The hotel is well located near the stadium, city centre and restaurants of Florida Road (a 2 minute drive) and easy to find, even after a long flight! The staff were very friendly and arranged a visit to the Sky Car for my mum's birthday which was a lovely surprise and got our trip off to a good start. The rooms are comfortable with a lovely big bathroom. However the wifi didn't work and the TV had only 2 stations, which wasn't an issue as were really only there to sleep. We were also next to the road which was noisy at night as were the pigeons on the roof. The room was showing a little wear and tear but clean. The restaurant was closed during our stay, but the breakfast was very good and in a lovely building, a shame the hotel don't make the most of it. Overall the staff and location make this a good place good for a stopover.
