Riverside Durban

Was assaulted badly by 2 Indian Males in the car park on Friday night, reason was because they were revving their car excessively for attention and they overheard me telling my colleagues that "these idiots are making so much noise and I can't hear what was being said" the security watched from a distance and did nothing to intervene, they even let the guys leave the premises as if nothing happened. I requested several times for the guards to contact the Saps and after almost an hour of talking to several different guards and screaming at them to contact the Police and the Manager of the Hotel, they refused and told me to leave the premises, while walking to the entrance with my back facing the guards, they continuously pushed and hit me on my back until I fell on the tar causing multiple other injuries to me. My sister who was asking them to not push me was then also pushed to the ground for no reason whatsoever, the guards are obviously use to assaulting innocent females and the Hotel sees nothing wrong with this. Went to fetch my vehicle the following morning and a female who is allegedly the manager, asked how I am, to which I replied "not good" and showed her my injuries, most of which were caused by the security guards at their establishment, her response was that I am not allowed on the premises, no apology or empathy whatsoever!!! Yes the entire incident has been reported to the SAPS. Would not recommend Riverside Hotel to anyone, rather stay safe and avoid this establishment for your own good.

It was such an amazing stay, the service the rooms, the food, i really enjoyed my stay, i am hoping to visit soon with my family
