The location and structure of the place are excellent, but it needs proper maintenance and service. The towels are off-white. The room lighting was insufficient, and the headlamps were too bright for the eyes. The tea area is in the dark. The waiters at breakfast were unsure of their duties, while the receptionists were not welcoming and did not give guests attention when they came for assistance.

Not as it used to be, the Lodge is no longer for the same guests. Focusing on large groups of contractors.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel, especially if you book conference venue. Overall, the staff is unprofessional, rude, and most of all , they steal. I recommend that if you book with them, it important that you calculate every cent you pay because if you don't pay attention they rip you off. I was robbed more than the value of R5000. Be careful!
