We enjoyed our stay at Kubu Safari Lodge a lot, because of the nice spacious room and especially the very beautiful and peaceful green site where zebra's and nyala's were frequent visitors. We loved the breakfast and dinner. It was prepared with love and the food was fresh and delicious. The co-workers were friendly, cheerful and supportive. We benefit from the offer for game drives at private game reserves, a boat trip on the Blyde river canyon and we visited the endangered species center in Hoedspruit. All close by and recommanded. It took a bit to get used to the groups of tourist visiting from organized trips, in contrary to us traveling as independant couple. The door to our terrace was out of order, it needed repair. The local water isn't drinkable, the accomodation provided only once a day small bottles water. This could be more generous in our opinion. Our conclusion is that Kubu Safari Lodge is a place for a relaxed comfortable stay with great hospitality on a beautiful site and area worth visiting.
