Protea Hotel Highveld

Stayed for 2 nights. It was a pleasant. The rooms are big and kept clean. There is a desk and sufficient lighting for evening work. Internet was stable. All catering was top notch. Breakfast is available from 06:30. Supper is available from 18:30. There was more than enough parking and it seemed secure.

I am from the Lowveld so it easy for me to catch flue during this period. Please provide more blankets in the rooms than using the air conditioner.

The amount we were charged did not align with the services provided. Their WI-FI was terrible throughout the trip; the food was also not well cooked and seasoned. Their buffet lacked variety. The bedding was also not good. My plugs in my room did not work, I could not charge my devices. I did not have a good experience overall.
