TSHUKUDU BUSH LODGE

We had one of the best days of our lives at this wonderful hotel. The entire staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and helpful. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our experienceOur guide, Jean Henrique, was absolutely fantastic. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Congratulations, Jean! Truly outstanding.

Our stay at Tshukudu Game Lodge was genuinely exceptional from beginning to end. The lodges themselves were outstanding — beautifully presented, comfortable and perfectly suited to the intimate surroundings. The whole lodge has a wonderfully personal and exclusive feel, and the location is absolutely perfect for experiencing the wildlife up close. The food throughout our stay was also first class and far exceeded our expectations. A huge part of what made the experience so memorable was our guide, Jann Rick. He was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of the wildlife and the area was incredible, but what really stood out was his genuine passion and enthusiasm. Combine that with his friendliness and great personality, and every game drive became an experience in itself. Nothing ever felt rushed, and his excitement for the wildlife was infectious. He is a real credit to Tshukudu. A very special mention also has to go to Elvis, the chef, who produced amazing food throughout our stay. Every meal was something to look forward to and the quality was superb. Finally, a huge thank you to Tammy and Ernest, who looked after us throughout the day. Their warmth, friendliness and hospitality made us feel incredibly welcome and added enormously to the intimate, personal atmosphere of the lodge. Tshukudu manages to combine fantastic accommodation, outstanding food, incredible wildlife and genuinely wonderful people. It felt far more personal than simply staying at a safari lodge — the whole experience was special. Without hesitation, 5 stars. We would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend Tshukudu Game Lodge highly enough.

What a truly special place this is. My husband and I stayed here for four nights with our two sons, aged 13 and 14, and it exceeded every expectation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this incredible lodge and safari experience to anyone, and we already hope to return one day. It will be hard to beat. A huge thank you to our guide, Clement, who took us on personalised game drives every morning and afternoon. His knowledge and enthusiasm made every drive unforgettable. The reserve is teeming with wildlife, and seeing all of the Big Five was simply incredible. One of our favourite memories was enjoying evening sundowners at the highest point in the reserve, watching the sun set over the breathtaking landscape. It was one of those magical moments we'll remember forever. The accommodation was absolutely first-class. Waking up to the stunning views from the terrace and pool area each day was a real privilege. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. Thank you to Tammi and Earnest for taking such wonderful care of us, and to Elvis and Sam, whose cooking was outstanding. Every breakfast was delicious, and the five-course dinners each evening were a real highlight. The springbok, ostrich and steaks were all exceptional. Thank you to everyone at this wonderful lodge for making our stay feel so personal and memorable. We truly couldn't have asked for more, and we leave with memories our family will treasure for a lifetime.
