Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre and Spa

We stumbled upon Kedar because we left it too late to book at Sun City, and boy are we glad we did! What a pleasant surprise. Kedar is nestled in the bush with traditional style lodgings. It does not purport to be luxurious and you will be disappointed if you are looking for that. Instead you get tranquility and serenity by the bucketful. The wildlife is beautiful to watch and admire. A great surprise for us was the history. You will find memorabilia everywhere and while it reflects the Boer War era, it is not meant to be biased. It is a factual account of war itself. A visit to Paul Kruger’s family homestead was a delight and our guide very knowledgeable. We have come away feeling enriched for the experience, not to mention totally refreshed and relaxed.

I would like to thank the staff at Kedar that is making it easy for us to stay and use their premises. I would like to start by giving high 5 to Tebogo at the reception for your great ad wonderful treatment and assistance. Secondly I would like to thank the lady that was attending to my treatment “massage” I did not take her name but treatment was of another level. Rooms are excellent but please don’t only provide kettle but also provide ingredients to make coffee/ tea😀

Booked my Brother and Husband into Kedar Lodge due to me having a work weekend at Sun City. They loved every moment, the comfort, scenery, hospitality, and the fabulous food. My husband mentioned that was the best almond croissants he has ever tasted. Will definitely book there again.
