L'Avenir Country Lodge

Arrive - feel good - feel at home! And then not want to leave anymore! The lodge is beautiful; there is truly nothing to criticize. Everyone is super friendly and not at all intrusive. It is only a few minutes' drive to Stellenbosch and about three-quarters of an hour to Cape Town. Uber drivers arrive within a few minutes.

What a beautiful place and so friendly staff. The pool room was super and we enjoyed walks around the vineyard. Topped off with a complimentary tasing of their stunning wines. Couldn’t fault the stay - wonderful

we got a wonderful upgrade, pool area is lovely (even if the pool is a bid cold) but you can enjoy the surroundings. Wine tasting was lovely, we even got convinced to drink Pinotage. Dinner was okay. As we were late in the morning the breakfast was fine. It is a perfect stop to enjoy a wine-tasting.
