Oude Werf

The staff from Shannon in Reception provided excellent service in changing rooms. The Barman greets everytime i pass.The breakfast restuarant is the best. They keep Hawk Eyes on you and go to trouble of finding what you want. The Chef is really excellent and even came onto the floor to help. The manager and waiters are all so friendly . The cleaners are very curteous.The bonus is that i had parking and did not have to drive up and down in the street. This is my second stay and i will be back. Andrew & Marieta Dugmore

We stayed at this beautiful hotel in the centre of Stellenbosch for 2 nights and if we had more time, would have stayed longer. This wee gem is perfectly located in the town centre and has a car park at the hotel which is very convenient. It is within a 1 minute walk to bars, restaurants and shops. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and has tv, tea/coffee making facilities along with a fridge and a safe. They are spotlessly cleaned very day. The breakfast is exceptional with a fantastic choice of cooked and continental meals. The dinner menu is also exceptional and cooked to perfection. The entire staff are extremely friendly, attentive, courteous and always on hand to assist with any queries etc. The Oude Werf is an amazing hotel and from you enter the door until you leave every member of staff make your stay very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking a brilliant hotel to stay in Stellenbosch, South Africa.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely return in the future. The location is perfect is right in the heart of town and within walking distance to everything, yet still peaceful and not noisy at all. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and kind throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Breakfast offered a great selection with plenty of delicious options to choose from each morning. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds, which made for a great night’s sleep. We also loved the heated pool which is such a nice added touch for relaxing after a busy day exploring. Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended for your stay in stellenbosch if you’re looking to stay in the heart of town.
